Lora’s passion for volleyball led to coaching opportunities with the hopes of inspiriting others to feel the same fondness she feels for the sport. Lora coaches the youth, in particular, ages 9-14, for a local organization that introduces basic skills and gameplay but also prepares more experienced players for school teams and high school tryouts. Lora creates an inclusive environment. Lora enjoys both playing and coaching and is excited to be a part of the SoCal family. She has played on and off most of her life, from junior high to post-graduate volleyball intramurals. She absolutely loves the game and wants to share her enthusiasm and competitive spirit with others. Lora wishes to make an impact with each individual she teaches in hopes they can gain more confidence, work in a team setting, thrive in a sport that keeps them on their toes, and apply these qualities to other aspects of their lives. Lora is married with a young son. In addition to work and family life, she loves to travel/explore, is a big Disney fan, and is an adventure junkie (favorites: zip line, scuba/snorkel, paragliding).
