Kaihla Granger grew up in Oceanside California and started coaching in 2022, because “volleyball has been a big part of my life and I wanted to find a way to use my experience to give back to the sport.” Kaihla has experience and excels at coaching middle school, high school level athletes. Players describe her coaching style as uplifting and positive. Kaihla believes to be successful, a team must find the balance between having fun and focusing in when it is needed and strives to instill this in her athletes. Kaihla chose to work at SoCal Volleyball Club because this is where she got started her love for volleyball grew. She has always loved the community and wants to be a part of it while giving back to the sport.
When not coaching you’ll find Kaihla playing for palomar college. She stays busy between coaching, school, and playing. Outside of volleyball, she really enjoys painting.
