The NAIA and NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championships are happening now, and we’re STOKED! We’ll be streaming multiple matches in the gym so you can cheer on your favorite school. While watching these top athletes compete, remember the preparation behind the scenes.

An element often overlooked by young athletes is the college athletes’ weight room hustle.

Why do they do this?

The athletes will tell you the glamorous reasons. Performance training increases their vertical, quickness, and power.

All of which is true.

Talk to the coaches, strength and conditioning staff, and athletic trainers, and they’ll share their primary reason why:
it prevents injuries.

You can train like a college athlete — now!

We recommend that all SoCal Local and Travel members train with JG Performance (inside SoCal Athletics)All ages and skill levels can benefit from performance training.

JP Performance’s supportive instructors, Cogen, Monica, and Tony, challenge athletes with high-intensity interval training (HIIT), plyometric, and functional programming. Kids love the confidence they build on and off the court. And because this program is under the guidance of a volleyball-minded physical therapist, they can stay on the court longer because injury prevention aspects are woven throughout the training.

Space is limited and will sell out.
