🥐 Why are there so many baked goods at the gym on Friday?

There was a time when farmers would allow travelers and neighbors to take food from their fields and orchards as a gift to the community. SoCal follows that tradition with our Orchard’s Edge food share program by offering baked goods from Costco every Friday.  Food waste in the United States amounts for 80 BILLION pounds per year or 242 pounds per person.  We can do better than that, so as a non-profit, we are privileged to receive food from Costco and share it with you for FREE.

Want to participate?  Bring in any extra fruit and vegetables and put it in the bins whenever you like.  Doesn’t have to be on Friday.
