Clara Sullivan grew up in Shaver Lake, CA and started coaching in 2023 because of her love for the sport of volleyball and for sparking growth within players. Clara has experience and excels at coaching middle school level athletes. Players describe her coaching style as as uplifting and communicative regarding volleyball technique, while also holding high expectations centered around court presence and player attitude. Clara believes to be successful, a team must work together while communicating efficiently and she strives to instill this in her athletes. Clara chose to work at SoCal Volleyball Club because she believes that volleyball is an amazing sport that can have such a positive impact on a young adults life. She hopes to teach her athletes skills that are applicable both on and off the court. Clara had the opportunity to play for some amazing and inspiring volleyball coaches in club volleyball. It is her dream to be able to provide a similar experience for aspiring athletes.
