Kerena’s players would describe her coaching style as fun, constantly supportive, and persistent. She requires a lot from her players and they always show great improvement.
Kerena enters her fifth year at SoCal where she displays her competitive experience that was gained, by being a four-year Varsity player at Vista High School. While at Vista, Kerena was coached by Aimee Asebroek, who taught her to pay attention to detail and work hard! Her experience at Vista later allowed her to be a standout player at Mira Costa College. While at SoCal, Kerena has been instrumental in running SoCal’s summer camps, clinics, and FutureStars where she specializes in player development. On top of these classes, Kerena has coached Fall Ball and travel teams where she most enjoys watching her girls push themselves to a higher standard!
