Mary Fry, PhD, Professor, University of Kansas: Mary Fry is a professor in sport psychology at the University of Kansas, and she is the Director of the KU Sport & Exercise Psychology Lab. She helps coaches and athletes develop strong mental skills and create positive team environments that help optimize the sport experience and performance of all athletes.

Cogen  Nelson, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, CrossFit Level 1 and 2, CrossFit Gymnastics, CrossFit Mobility, USA Weightlifting International Coach, Level 2 Precision Nutrition Coach, Nutrition Coach with M2 Performance Nutrition, 2021, 2022 USA Functional Fitness Master World’s Championship Team Member: Cogen is a retired Marine Corps Sergeant and retired due to a combat injury in Iraq. He discovered CrossFit as he was recovering although doctors told him he would never be able to do big repetitive exercise movements again. Long story short, he is an amazing human being, stronger and faster than ever, and passing on his wealth of knowledge!

Brenna Chirby, Psy.D., Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Sport Psychologist: Brenna Chirby has spent 20+ years working in the mental health field in hospitals and other community based clinics and private practice. She has also spent many years on the counseling and educational side of sports psychology, including performance enhancement and injury recovery.  Today, she specializes mostly in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, relationship/family issues, and trauma.
