This Week at SoCal | Girls 10-14U Travel Tryouts this weekend | What to expect, Travel vs Local, and 2023 coaching staff!

The Travel Program is for dedicated intermediate to advanced players. Travel teams are our most competitive teams with the greatest time and travel commitment. Teams are formed based on player tryouts. Tryouts are Saturday and Sunday, so athletes should attend both days. If you can’t make tryouts this weekend, still register online and email us at [email protected] to schedule a makeup evaluation.

After you get your team assignment, Signing Day is Tuesday, October 4th, when team registration opens online, and uniform fittings will be in the afternoon at the SoCal Athletics gym.

Then 10-14U team practices begin the week of October 29th!

Fall Sports Performance Program

This program is geared toward all levels. We will focus on proper functional techniques and mechanics that apply to your sport and your wellness and movement patterns. Benefits include strength, jumping ability, endurance, power, increased confidence, injury prevention, and overall athletic performance improvement. And we have a ton of fun! Join TODAY! Club Sports Performance Program

The JG Performance Fitness Sports Performance Program is geared toward beginner to advanced athletes looking to increase strength, speed, power, jump ability, explosiveness, and flexibility. Our experienced staff will focus on sound functional movement patterns and injury prevention. This class will also benefit our growing athletes by increasing bone density and ligament strength and boosting their self-confidence. The benefits are innumerable! Join TODAY!   1. Please park only in marked spaces in the rear and the side of the building, adhering to the signs for lots adjacent to SDVBC/Seaside. If you park in the wrong lot, your vehicle may get towed away!

  2. Parking is ALLOWED on the streets.

  3. Personal chairs are permitted in the building but not on the playing surface.

  4. Front lobby, where black couches are,  must remain clear. No congregation.

Holiday Schedule on Sep 05, 2022: Labor Day (No training/office closed)

The SoCal Volleyball Club gym and offices will be closed for the holiday on Sep 05, 2022.

During this time, there are no team practices, camps, clinics, or open gyms. Our member support team will not be available to answer questions, but our on-call team will be standing by if any serious issues arise (email: [email protected] or call/text: ‪(760) 515-3741‬).

 This closure does not affect scheduled tournaments or the ability to book programs online.
