Amber Arcidiacono has been a part of the SoCal family since 2006. Amber started out in the Future Starts program, now known as the Local Cali program. After two years in the Future Star program, Amber decided she was ready to join a local team in 2008. After playing for a local team and gaining experience in a competitive team environment, in 2009 she transitioned into playing for a SoCal National travel team. Amber graduated from Carlsbad high school, however, she decided to play for the fall ball program at SoCal instead. Amber played as an outside hitter all four years of her high school volleyball career. While being a well-rounded player, Amber also played as a defensive specialist in her junior year of high school. After high school Amber attended California State University San Marcos where she obtained her special education teaching credential. Now teaching in the Carlsbad School District Amber is back on the court and ready to share her passion for volleyball with the next generation. Amber describes herself as supportive, competitive, and energetic. Amber loves to bring fun and energy to the court no matter what skill and age level. Amber is very excited to stay within the SoCal family and share her knowledge and experiences with the next generation of volleyball players. Amber enjoyed her playing time at SoCal, she couldn’t imagine playing anywhere else.
