Coach Ale has had an absolute passion for volleyball since the day she picked up a ball. At Mission Hills high school, her alma mater, she achieved the starting libero position her junior and senior year as well as earning awards such as Coaches’ Award, Defensive Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year. She continued her talents at Cal State San Marcos’ competitive club team after graduating in 2015. She is currently competing at San Diego Mesa college as well as attending CSUSM where she is thrilled to be competing collegiately. She has coached Sage Creek’s boys freshman team for 2016 and 2017 season where they have won league and CIF back to back, and won state for the first time in program history. She has also coached Sage Creek’s JV girls as well as San Dieguito Academy JV girls where several incredible wins went down in history.
Coach Ale is also no stranger to the club, as she played 3 club seasons on a couple of top teams right here at SoCal. From running Future Stars, to assisting the beach program and assisting 15-Jason’s national team, she truly has a calling to connecting well with younger players. Many players would define her coaching style as patient, nurturing, yet accountable. She will ultimately push you to do your absolute best, all while having tons of fun. Ale strongly believes that everything must be done with a purpose and is achieved through a process, in where she will be every step of the way.
