Character Through Kindness.
Imani Griffin is one determined volleyball player who aspires to be a detective in the criminology field. With a strong height of 6'1, Imani thrives for the game of volleyball. She is currently a senior at Oceanside High School, and has played on the varsity team for the past two years. As a volleyball player, Imani currently plays the position of Middle Blocker, but is also comfortable as a Right Side or an Outside hitter.
Motivated by her peers, Imani is devoted and determined to obtain a scholarship for volleyball to a four year university. Her college education goal is receive a degree in Criminology, and minor in Pyschology, where she can hopefully pursue her career as an detective or possibly an FBI agent.
With an upbeat attitude, and a loud voice that allows her to release energy on the court, it is hard to bring down an athlete like Imani Griffin. She holds constant smiles, and loves to encourage her teammates through difficult times. As an athlete at her current high school she has recieved the current awards:

All-City Honorable Mention 2011
Imani has played club for the last three years, striving to be better and better every tournament. She holds a current 3.0 GPA, and strives to push her grades up to a 3.5 by the end of her senior year.
