A Brand New Member for the SoCal Family
First and foremost, a huge congrats to Coaches Dave and Amanda Savage on the birth of their son "Charlie" last Saturday! He is a gorgeous 7 lb., 8 oz. baby boy, and we are so thrilled for their family. Amanda plans to be back in the gym TODAY (yes, not quite 4 days after giving birth) to run her practice-- she is amazing! Cheers to their beautiful family!
Fiesta Classic
For those that didn't get to attend the Fiesta Classic last weekend-- we had a great time and the teams all showed tremendous growth over the course of the weekend. It was so fun to see them improve with every match. The 16-1 team won their bracket on the final day of competition, so congratulations and great job to them! The 18-1 team performed very well in the Open Division and the 17-1 team took 13th overall. We got a ton of great footage that the girls are posting on their profile pages and a lot of great looks from schools. Overall, this was a great job by the coaches, the players and all people involved in this successful trip.
Team Bonding and Bingo/Movie Night
Foundation Strength
Thank you to Coaches Ben Moselle and Audrey Green for all of the effort they've put in growing the "Fit Fridays". They are really dedicated to their group, and even got the participants super cool t-shirts that say "Fit Friday Crew"-- thank you guys-- this is a huge value and the kids love it! Ben and Audrey along with Foundation Strength are really working on growing a fitness program for our membership. For all members that purchase sessions this month, there will be punch cards available that are good for 12 sessions and cost $99. After January the price will go up to $120 for 12 sessions, which is only $10/per session which is an AMAZING deal for personal training and the benefits are invaluable.
Uniforms
Uniforms are still not in, and although it's POSSIBLE that 16s and 14s may get theirs before the coming weekend, we are not planning on that. We have plenty of loners and everyone will have uniforms to play in until everything comes in. Everyone hang in there, we will make it work and the new one will be here no time!
